  Script Editor for Doctor Who, 2009-2010

From an early career as a child actor (starring in, amongst others, The Phoenix and the Carpet and The Famous Five), Gary Russell then moved into working behind the camera … eventually helping to establish Big Finish Productions, where he worked as Executive Producer for eight years. He then joined the production team at BBC Wales Drama, where he worked on Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Wizards vs Aliens. Recently, he has been working with Big Finish Creative, overseeing the animated versions of four classic Doctor Who stories!

He’s also written extensively about television, including over thirty Doctor Who related novels and factual books.
